November 2018 Wine Club Red

Published by |

This dry, red wine is made from mostly Tempranillo with a hint of Mazuelo. It is aged for 18 months in American oak before being bottled.

This wine is deep red cherry and maroon in appearance. The intense nose suggests dried herbs and leather. The wine is full-bodied and smooth on the palate. The finish brings notes of vanilla spice and black plum.

The balance and elegant structure adds to the complexity of the wine. Aging quite gracefully, this wine is an excellent choice for a variety of meat dishes such as roast lamb, ham, and grilled pork, as well as Spanish tapas, medium-aged cheeses, pastas, and grilled vegetables. It will also pair well with oily fish such as tuna or cod.
