The celebrated Delas Frères wine company was founded in 1835. Since1993 it has been part of the Roederer group.

The Côtes-du-Rhône comes from grapes from several vineyards in the Rhône valley. The Mediterranean climate of this region with the prevailing Mistral winds, highly seasonal rainfall, hot temperatures and abundant sunshine result in fruity red wines that are easy to drink.

The Delas Saint Esprit Côtes-du-Rhône is a blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache. Fermentation of grapes is at temperatures between 82˚F and 86˚F. The wine then aged for 8 months in vats before being bottled
Decanter magazine describes this wine as: “60% Syrah, 40% Grenache. Lovely rich opulent and floral, black berry and plum nose, the palate is big with well layered fruit, attractively firm but soft tannin and hints of oak, a big wine with a lovely finish.”

This wine won a Gold Medal in the Decanter Asia Wine Awards.

Enjoy this wine with “Provençale” cuisine—dishes cooked with fresh garlic, tomatoes and olive oil.
