Note: We had this extraordinary opportunity, so we’ve pre-empted our previously planned Easter Wine Tasting.
“One of the reference point estates in Washington is unquestionably Betz Family Winery … wines are sensational across the board. Anyone interested in Washington State wines, or just high-quality wines, owe it to themselves to try these.” —Wine Advocate, Jeb Dunnock
Meet top West Coast Sommelier Tim Steinke. As Wine Director at Seattle’s Wild Ginger, Tim won the Grand Award before joining Betz Family Winery as Sales Director. We’re very excited that Mr. Steinke is able to join us and host this wonderful free tasting of remarkable Washington wines from the Betz Family Winery.
Taste with Tim, James Selby, Favorite Brands and our Barbara Bjorn:
- 2014 Betz Family “Clos de Betz” (Bordeaux Blend): 95 points Wine Advocate
- 2014 Betz Family “Cuvee Frangin” (Cabernet Blend): 91 points Wine & Spirits
- 2014 Betz Family “Bésoleil” (Rhone Blend): 94 points Wine Advocate
…and from their partner winery in South Africa:
- 2016 Quinta Essencia, Chenin Blanc, Stellenbosch: 90 points Vinous.com
