Ever Heard of Kombucha?

We are very excited that Jesse from GT’s Living Foods is coming to Susan’s to host a complimentary tasting of kombucha. Kombucha is a fermented probiotic drink traditionally made with a small alcohol content. The alcohol was usually removed for placement in grocery stores, but now “hard” kombucha is making a comeback and becoming quite popular. Jesse will be featuring their three flavors with over 3% alcohol:

  • Piña Paradise (brewed with pineapple)
  • New World Noir (brewed with pinot noir grapes)
  • Gingerade (brewed with fresh ginger root)

These three flavors along with the rest of the GT’s line-up are always great enjoyed alone, or as an alternative to cocktail mixers. We will be tasting some creative new cocktails made with kombucha as a mixer with these fun combinations:

  • Mezcal and Piña Kombucha
  • Rye Whiskey with New World Noir Kombucha
  • Bourbon and Gingerade Kombucha
