We are excited to partner with Willamette Valley Vineyards, provider of our November Wine Club Selections, to bring you a Virtual Wine Seminar and Tasting. During this seminar, you will learn about the Willamette Valley Wine region, learn how this region compares to other wine regions, and meet Willamette Valley Vineyards Winery Director, Christine Clair.
A guided tasting of the following wines will also be part of the program. You will learn how the grapes are grown, harvested, and processed, then how the wine is produced. As you taste, you’ll be able to understand how each of the decisions made during growing, harvesting, and producing influence the wine.
At the time of the seminar and virtual tasting, simply click this link to join. (If this is your first Zoom meeting, you might be asked to install the Zoom client on your computer.)
2019 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir (November 2020 Wine Club selection) Aromas of ripe black cherry, strawberry, black currant, and raspberry. A fruit-forward and juicy entry leads to flavors that mirror aromas with the addition of pomegranate and a subtle hint of mocha.
2018 Pinot Gris (November 2020 Wine Club selection) Aromas of nectarine, tangerine, lime zest, and elderflower lead to a medium-bodied palate, revealing fresh flavors of green apple, lychee, honeydew, and pineapple.
2018 Estate Pinot Noir Complex aromas of red and bramble fruits including cherry, raspberry, and blackberry. Round and full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and flavors of dark fruit, cedar, baking spice, and signature earth.
