Do you enjoy exploring different wines, wineries, vintages, appellations, and varieties? Would you like to save money on each wine purchase? Then, Susan’s Wine Club is for you. Each month, we carefully select two different wines for your enjoyment. The selection usually includes one white and one red, but we’ll occasionally mix it up by possibly including a rosé or a sparkling wine. At the beginning of each month, your wines are packaged, we notify you by e-mail and you’re charged $34.99 for these two bottles. You can come by the store any time and pick them up. We even hold them for you if you’re out of town.
The wines we select are chosen to help expand your taste, your experience. They might be varieties you’ve never encountered before, or they might be from regions you never would have considered. The wine-club selections are always delightful, quality choices and are a great value with the normal shelf price of each typically ranging from $16.99 to over $20. And you get both for $34.99. The wine club offers additional benefits:
- Wine Club members get a 10% discount on all wine purchases regardless of quantity.
- Wine Club members get discounts and priority access to limited-seating seminars.
- Occasionally, wineries make promotional items available to us and we give those to Wine Club members.
- Membership can be cancelled or even suspended at any time, so part-year residents can enjoy Wine Club membership.

2018 GUY BRETON “MARYLOU” BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES Guy Breton is known by his friends as Petit Max—though he is anything but petit. He took over the family domaine from his grandfather in 1986. Following the example of traditionalist Jules Chauvet, Guy and three other local vignerons, Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet, and Jean Foillard, soon hoisted the flag of Chauvet’s back-to-nature movement. The end result allows Morgon, one of the ten Beaujolais crus and a red wine based on the Gamay grape, to express itself naturally, without make-up or plastic surgery—rustic, spicy, loaded with schist minerals and at the same time, refreshing and deep-down delicious. Guy has been known to proclaim, “I don’t…
2018 MEYER-FONNÉ EDELZWICKER Félix Meyer is a rising star in Alsace and has an evident instinct for his craft. He is the third generation in his family to be making wine in the domaine his grandfather founded in the late nineteenth century. Since taking over the family domaine in 1992, Félix has already left his own mark, modernizing equipment in the winery, developing export sales, and now expanding the family’s holdings in many of Alsace’s great vineyard sites, including several grand crus. It’s all about the details at Meyer-Fonné, with an emphasis on tradition and respect for terroir. The winery and family home is in the village of Katzenthal, known for its distinctive granite soils. Racy and elegant, his wines are difficult to resist young but have all the right qualities for the cellar. For aromatic and textural seductiveness, no…
