Each month, we carefully select two different wines for your enjoyment. The selection usually includes one white and one red, but we’ll occasionally mix it up by possibly including a rosé or a sparkling wine. At the beginning of each month, your wines are packaged, we notify you by e-mail and you’re charged $34.99 for these two bottles. You can come by the store any time and pick them up. We even hold them for you if you’re out of town.

The wines we select are chosen to help expand your taste, your experience. They might be varieties you’ve never encountered before, or they might be from regions you never would have considered. The wine-club selections are always delightful, quality choices and are a great value with the normal shelf price of each typically ranging from $16.99 to over $20. And you get both for $34.99. 2014 MAQUIS GRAN RESERVA CABERNET SAUVIGNON The Maquis Estate is located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley where the Tinguiririca River meets the Chimbarongo creek. 2016 CALCU RESERVA ESPECAIL SAUVIGNON BLANC Calcu vineyards are located in the Andes foothills and are among the highest in the Colchagua Valley. The grapes in these vineyards mature slowly and develop great complexities in flavor, including delicate herbal notes. As a result, the wines have a unique freshness and minerality. Colder than usual temperatures in 2016 prolonged and delayed the ripening process. Consequently, the wines show moderate levels of alcohol while exhibiting an excellent natural balance between fruit expression and volume. This wine is cold fermented in stainless steel tanks with low levels of turbidity. The resulting wine is pale green in color. The aroma hints of mangoes, pineapples, and asparagus. The palate is refreshingly crisp with a long, salty, elegant finish. This wine pairs well with seafood, poultry and goat cheese.
